Project Description: Create a platonic form using a system of construction comprised of at least 50 components. Each component must have a basswood linear element, a chipboard planar element and a bristol board volumetric element.
Solution: The first iteration of this program is a sphere created by the connection of cone elements via chipboard tabs and a basswood structure. The second iteration is an attempt to fully integrate the peices. Here, the basswood functions as the connection for each bristol element and the chipboard planar element is used to connect groups of components.
